How to Play Caribbean Stud Poker
Brief Description:
Casino-on-Net-Online's Caribbean Stud Poker is a poker-style game Where
a player competes one-on-one with the dealer. After the cards are dealt,
the player a dealer compare the results of their 5-card hands. To win,
the player's hand must beat the dealer's hand.
Caribbean Stud Poker Rules:
Caribbean Stud Poker is played with a standard 52-card deck. To begin,
the player places an "Ante Bet""and then the dealer will deal each player
five cards, face-up. Except on public and group tables, where the other
players' cards will be dealt face down. The dealer also receives five
cards; four cards face down, and one card face up.
You will look at your cards and then the dealer's one Up Card. At this
point, you can challenge the dealer's hand by placing a bet or surrender.
The "Challenge Bet" is always double the Ante Bet. If you select "Surrender",
your Ante Bet will be lost.
In a Challenge Bet, the dealer reveals his four face down cards and
the hands are compared.
To qualify, the dealer's hand must contain at least one Ace and one
King. If the dealer's hand does not qualify, the player receives a 1
to 1 payout on their Ante Bet and the Challenge Bet is returned without
additional winnings.
Should the dealer's hand qualify with at least an Ace or King, than
the player's and dealer's hands are compared and the best hand wins.
For winning hands, refer to the Poker Hand Value Chart, below. A player's
winning hand receives 1 to 1 on the Ante Bet, in addition to the winnings
on the Challenge Bet, which are calculated according to the hand's value.
