How to Play Craps
Brief Description:
The 'Come Out Roll' is the first roll of dice in an Online Craps round.
The customary initial bet in Craps, placed before the Come Out Roll,
is called the "Pass Line Bet.". Pass Line Bets are instant winners if
the shooter's Come Out Roll is a 7 or 11 on the dice, and, likewise,
becomes a loss if the Come Out Roll is a 2, called Snake Eyes, a 3,
called Cross Eyes, or a 12, called Box Cars. If a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or
10 are rolled on the Come Out Roll, that number becomes "The Point".
"The Puck", which is a small round plastic marker labeled "ON" in this
case and "OFF" in other cases, shows that The Point has been established.
The Puck is placed on the Craps table over the box for the number rolled
as The Point: 4, 5, six, 8, nine, or 10.
To end a round of Craps and finish the Pass Line Bets, the shooter must
roll either the Point or 7 after the Come Out Roll. There is a possibility
that a Craps round will continue for a long time if the shooter fails
to roll the Point or a 7. Pass Line Bets cannot be won until the Point
is rolled, and cannot lose until a 7 is rolled. Once a Pass Line Bet
has been placed, players may not remove their wagers and must wait for
a roll of the Point or a 7 to determine the outcome of their Pass Line
Bets.
